X-Com - Control & Monitoring

X-Com Control and Monitoring

Deploying an X-Com solution enables a variety of multi-vendor equipment, located locally or at multiple remote locations to be monitored and controlled by any number of operators at various dispersed locations.

X-Com allows easy interchange of data and visualisation between operators and equipment, with customised user interfaces enabling operators to respond, analyse and make informative decisions quickly.

X-Com is based upon a robust, tried and tested industry standard HMI/SCADA platform and uses state of the art OPC serial and SNMP driver packs which enable efficient management of data between various user interfaces. With in-built Client/Server operation ensuring low data requests from individual applications, data can be distributed to various X-Com applications from a single request.

X-Com solution can be deployed within any infrastructure or user application, from CCTV command & control, Broadcast systems monitoring through to building management control, all can be easily linked into a single solution that allows individual operators to monitor and control systems designated to them, efficiently and quickly.

The visualisation of data and information can be customised to individual operator requirements- i.e. one operator may prefer to have data presented in the form of dynamic schematics, whilst another may prefer visualisation in the form of the equipment front panels, others may prefer a list of alarms – each and every scenario can be catered for. X-Com is open platform, and does not tie you into a single solution provider as may be the case with other systems, X-Com’s use of OPC drivers ensures that the system can be expanded or tailored accordingly by anyone experienced in use and deployment of OPC drivers – with X-Com you have a truly independent solution.
